Participating in student clubs and societies ("student associations") is considered an important part of student life at BSB, especially for students’ personal development.
Approximately 70% of first-year "Grande École" students are involved in student associations. Student associations are supported by the school, and the Department of Personal Development is in charge of coordination.
Whether it is organising an integration seminar, Sémiski, after-work parties, thematic breakfasts, the Christmas Gala, or the Gala de Parrainage, you should easily find the project that suits and motivates you via the varied 23 associations operating on campus.
Association life provides the perfect springboard for moulding your profile as a future manager. You will be able to implement the lessons you have learned in class and put your personal and professional skills to the test.
Helping you settle into school life. The Melting Potes association is dedicated to welcoming you, helping you settle in and coordinating activities between different groups within the school in order to create a bond between French and international students. This includes taking part in welcome weeks, organising trips within France and Europe, and participating in theme nights.
It’s through the associations that I was able to experiment with these two dimensions, firstly by becoming manager of the Culture section of the Student Federation. Then, concerning sustainable development, I set up an ecotourism project in Mexico for my work placement at the end of my first year. After that, I initiated and developed the project "Green Campus"
