PRESENTATION

The fields of management, governance, cultural policies and cultural and creative industries stand for the axis' areas of expertise, while contributing to the territory's local development.

Thus, the axis' researchers focus their work on several thematics:

  • The role of culture in sustainability and as the fourth “pillar” of sustainable development
  • This theme is articulated with several documents and reports from the United Nations (2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development) and the European Union ("Cultural Heritage Counts for Europe").
  • Governance and cultural policies, territorial regeneration and heritage, cultural ecosystems and sustainable cultural entrepreneurship
