Currently being structured, the Digital Leadership Research Axis is part of the BSB Lyon Campus dynamics engaged in the area of the digital issues raised in Management Sciences and in Economics.
Set up in the spirit of a start-up around educational fora conducive to exchanges and an entrepreneurial spirit through digital media and a collaborative environment, the BSB Lyon Campus is located in the La Confluence district, which has been undergoing urban mutations for several years. The district includes the Musée des Confluences and the headquarters of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Regional Council, as well as the building occupied by the daily Le Progrès, in which BSB occupies part of the premises.
The district’s economic dynamics are also at the core of the Lyon metropolitan area development plan, La Confluence. In 2019, the BSB campus will have in its vicinity the H7 incubator, housed in the former Halle Girard, where about one hundred digital start-ups are expected.
The Digital Leadership Research Axis is established at the heart of a “French Tech” labelled territory, a vector for several thousand companies and jobs. In connection with this digital ecosystem, the work in this emerging Research Axis aims to explore the digital transformation and the digital technologies now cutting across the major issues of economics and management (innovation, marketing, collaborative economics).
