She succeeds Marie-José Albert-Batt, who had been with BSB since 1994
Since July 1, 2019, Claudia Sampel has been the new Director of International Relations at BSB. She succeeds Marie-José Albert-Batt, who is retiring after 25 years at the School.
Claudia Sampel, of Austro-Brazilian origin, has 12 years of experience in the International Relations of Business Schools. After having been in charge of International Relations for EM Strasbourg (2007-2016), she then became Director of International Development at EM Normandy in 2017, a position she held until coming to BSB. Claudia is a graduate of Leopold Franzens University in Innsbruck (Austria).
"It's very motivating for me to join BSB today," says Claudia Sampel. "My role will be to continue the international development of the School, which already has a very rich network of partners. Moreover, with a gem like the School of Wine & Spirits Business, we have a very original and differentiating asset to continue to strengthen ourselves on an international scale. And then I must say that it is an honour to succeed Marie-José Albert Batt, whom I have known for more than 10 years and for whom I have great esteem and admiration. "
Claudia Sampel is also a member of the School's Executive Committee.
