Paris has a number of TGV high-speed mainline train stations. For further information about timetables and ticket prices, please consult the SNCF website. You can reserve your ticket online. However, please note that high-speed TGV trains are quickly booked up. Alternatively, you may purchase your ticket when you arrive at your departure station.

Brussels – Paris (Gare du Nord) : 1hr 20mins (TGV)
Geneva – Paris (Gare de Lyon) : 3hrs (TGV)
Frankfurt – Paris (Gare de l'Est) : 3hrs 50mins (TGV)
Luxemburg – Paris (Gare de l'Est) : 2hrs 10mins (TGV)
If you are arriving at one of Paris’ airports:
Roissy Charles de Gaulles airport > Paris
Option 1 (recommended): take line 4 of the Bus Direct service, which connects Paris – Gare de Lyon:
Departure every 30 minutes (journey time: around 1 hour depending upon arrival time),
Cost: € 17. This is the most practical option if you are travelling with a lot of luggage.
Option 2: take the RER B suburban train to Gare du Nord.
Option 3: by taxi. Expect to pay € 50-60 depending upon your destination, and a possible surcharge for luggage.
