Didier Jacquet, new Director of the MSc Wine Management

Historic year for the programme with more than 80 students

While the School of Wine & Spirits Business (SWSB) of BSB welcomes its new students between September and October (nearly 150 students, a majority of which are internationals and women among all the programmes of the institution), the MSc Wine Management (81 students, 11 nationalities) welcomes a new Director, Didier Jacquet.

He succeeds Pierre Joulié (retirement). With a strong background in the food industry, Didier Jacquet has also worked at Maison Louis Latour (Beaune) and has been the Financial Director of Badet Clément in Nuits-Saint-Georges for the last 5 years. He has also been involved in the School of Wine for almost 10 years, teaching a module on management control specific to the wine world.

A professional and pragmatic vision for record-breaking promotion

It is with great pleasure that I join the direction of the MSc Wine Management“, says Didier Jacquet. “In line with the philosophy defended by the School of Wine, and as an extension of the academic base, I intend to encourage a professional and pragmatic vision, and ensure that our students enrich their networks. In this respect, the high proportion of School of Wine graduates among our professional speakers is particularly satisfying“.

The MSc Wine Management has the largest class in its history: 81 participants from 11 different nationalities, of which a small half are French and an increased presence of Indian nationals (6).
