The Specialised Masters MS MECIC Paris – Management of Cultural Entreprises and Creative Industries aims to train future professionals in the management of cultural  and creative industries (cinema, performing arts, radio, publishing, museums, sponsorship, internet, video games, etc.), in the areas of finance, production, distribution and mediation.

This training is aimed at students, young professionals and mid-career management professionals wishing to specialise in the creative industries, as well as people with artistic backgrounds wishing to acquire skills in marketing and communication of culture. It is also ideal for nternational students wishing to explore the French model of heritage enhancement and support for film production.

The training is provided by a team of BSB professors for the theoretical foundation, and by professional speakers for their experience in the cultural sectors.

The selection of students for the programme is deliberately heterogeneous: French and international students,, creatives and professionals in retraining… This diversity forms a group that enriches itself and energises the entire training process.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING
We accompany each student in the definition of their professional project from the first interview to integration into their chosen cultural profession.

An entrepreneurship course is also offered to students with a business creation project in the cultural and creative industries.

CURRICULUM


The Specialised Masters MS MECIC Paris – Management of Cultural Entreprises and Creative Industriesrelies on a large network of professional partners with different degrees of involvement, from participation in a business presentation, submission of a project feasibility study, engagement with lectures, welcoming in the broader community  during technical visits and management conferences, and welcoming trainees.

Learning is based on a combination of theoretical courses, given by BSB professors, and a body of lecturers from the cultural sectors. During the first semester (October to the end of March) the students follow their courses on the Paris campus. They also take part in the European Seminar of Cultural Management (4 days).

Requirements to join the Specialised Masters MS MECIC Paris – Management of Cultural Entreprises and Creative Industries :

Masters degree or a non-French Bachelors degree with 3 years’ work experience

Proven passion for the Arts industry

French level: TCF/TEF: C1

Good level of English, tested during the interview

FINANCING


Tuition fees for the Specialised Masters MS MECIC Paris – Management of Cultural Entreprises and Creative Industries are €11,000 for students from the European Union and €14,000 for students outside the European Union, including the European seminar on cultural management.
