The Master of Science in Wine Management is a postgraduate programme fully taught in English that provides an excellent and unique opportunity to recent Bachelor programme graduates with an interest in a wine management career but with no specific prior experience.

The MSc Wine Management is an original programme created by BSB in 2012. Since then, a tremendous amount of work has been put in place to make the MSc Wine Management the best programme in content, faculty and teaching approach. This holistic programme allows students to not only obtain a global vision in the wine industry, but also gain management and financial skills in spirits and beer industries, having an in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of the international business environment, as well as advanced international management practice. The degree aims to produce corporate specialists, allowing graduates to apply with confidence for all managerial openings in wine, spirits and beer industries.

Unique Teaching Approach
We offer an active learning method by delivering product knowledge and management training at the same time. You will be engaged in business simulations, real life scenarios in business, financial business plans as well as marketing techniques in spirits and wine. At the end of the programme, you will earn WSET 2 level (Wine & Spirit Education Trust;  WSET 3 is optional).

Individual Guidance And Connections
True to BSB’s core values, we provide very specialised and personalised teaching in small groups of 35 students maximum. You will participate in meetings and workshops to build personal professional projects, network, and interact closely with each other and our teaching experts. You'll also embark on field trips to visit wine exhibitions and production companies, allowing you to step out of the classroom and into the real world of this exciting industry.

Creation of the International Trade in Wines and Spirits (CIVS) programme, accredited by the CGE for Specialised Masters in 1991.

2004
Creation of the Specialised Master in International Wine and Spirits Trade (CIVS) part-time in Paris.

2008
Creation of the MSc Wine Business, transformed in 2016 into today’s MBA programme.

2009
Creation of the Institute of Wine Management, precursor of the School of Wine and Spirits Business.

2012
Creation of the MSc Wine Management.

2013
On November 15, the School of Wine and Spirits Business (SWSB) opens.

2016
On July 1, opening of the Pavillon 1889 in Beaune, a unique place dedicated to the culture of Burgundy wines (modelled after the Pavillon de la Bourgogne at the Universal Exhibition of Paris in 1889).

2017
Creation of the Wine & Spirits Business MBA.

Tuition fees for the Master of Science Wine Management are €18,000. This rate is guaranteed throughout your course and is all-inclusive covering tuition, academic support, campus facilities, conferences and field trips.

Payment plans

Scholarships for international students

For the September 2024 intake, we are offering scholarships which reduce your first year of tuition upto 50%.

Scholarships for international students

For the September 2021 intake we are offering four merit-based scholarships for talented students coming from all around the world.
  • 3 Silver Scholarships (25% reduction of tuition fees)

  • 15 February 2021 - First deadline awarding 60% of the scholarships.
  • 31 March 2021 - Second deadline awarding 40% of the scholarships.
  • 1 July 2021 - The remaining scholarships, if any, will be awarded at the end of the application period.
