5th edition of BSB (Re)Connect: inclusion as a talent accelerator

A 2026 promotion marked by parity and new profiles from Latin America
Since 2020, BSB (Re) Connect embodies BSB's commitment to mainstreaming And of the accompanying persons benefiting from international protection towards sustainable professional integration. For this 5st publishing, the program welcomes a new class of 22 participants, which returned on Thursday, January 8, as part of a moment thought of as a strong moment of cohesion and movement.
A rigorous selection for tailor-made support
This year, 75 candidates were auditioned to constitute a promotion of 22 participants. This process guarantees individualized support, as close as possible to the needs and projects of each individual.
The 2026 promotion is distinguished by a near parity between women and men, profiles from Afghanistan, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Yemen, Somalia, Iran, Sudan, Colombia and Venezuela, and a diversity of backgrounds (nursing assistant, lawyer, economist-accountant, driver, pharmacy technician, architect, tennis teacher, sales/commercial professionals).
Also worth noting: a Increase in applications from Latin America, a reflection of political and social issues that push new audiences to rebuild a project in France.
A reinforced path around employability, with mobilized partners
The program runs until May 31, 2026 and offers structured support to consolidate a professional project, develop the right tools and accelerate access to employment.
This edition focuses on a reinforced employability cycle, thanks to the collaboration of actors committed alongside BSB: A2cyl (Anouck Clerget), APY-Act for You (Hélène Saint Martin), Baptiste Bardey (sports coach) and the VYV group (Romain Kissari). The program also receives support from the State through the DDETS, as well as from the company PPG, through funding from the revitalization of territories.
A new school year thought of as an event
Back to school of the class of 2026 took place the Thursday, January 8 on the BSB campus in Dijon. As every year, the day was animated by the improvisation troupe Lisa 21, to create a strong moment of cohesion, energy and trust from the first hours of the program.
The program will end on May 31 with the BSB Graduation Ceremony, a key moment for promoting career paths and the progress made.
An already concrete impact: more than 100 people supported since 2020
Since its creation, BSB (Re)Connect accompanied more than 100 persons benefiting from international protection. Among the significant trajectories, that ofIryna Zvierieva, a Ukrainian refugee who arrived in France in 2022. Holder of a Master in Political Science and Public Administration, she had a tourism project. Guided by France Travail, she met her mentor Sylvanie Pelletier, a hotel professional, and currently holds a position at The LHL Aparthotel.
