BSB and the EGC Business School in Sens partner to serve students in the region

Signing of a partnership to facilitate EGC students' progression to BSB programs
On July 8, BSB welcomed representatives from EGC Business School of Sens and the Yonne Chamber of Commerce and Industry to its Dijon campus for the official signing of a partnership designed to facilitate EGC students' progression to BSB's Master's degree programs.
This agreement is part of a broader cooperation dynamic between BSB and the national EGC network, spearheaded by its General Director David Barthe, with a shared ambition: to offer students academic pathways that are increasingly clear, ambitious, and accessible.
A partnership dedicated to students and their future
Through this agreement, BSB and EGC Business School of Sens aim to enhance student support for their further study plans. Joint initiatives will be progressively rolled out: conferences, orientation workshops, meetings with teaching staff, entrance exam preparation, and personalized support.
"EGCs play a vital role in training talent within their regions. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to building concrete bridges between institutions to offer students ambitious further study prospects tailored to their aspirations", notes Stéphan Bourcieu, BSB General Director.
A cooperation that is part of a national dynamic
EGC Business School of Sens joins an existing network of partnerships between BSB and several EGCs in mainland France and overseas territories. EGC Centre-Est was the first to commit to this partnership in 2023. To date, over 25 students from EGCs are continuing their studies on BSB's Dijon and Lyon campuses.
For students, this collaboration offers an additional opportunity to access a Grande École while benefiting from enhanced support in building their academic and professional paths.
"Students from EGCs have already acquired a strong management culture, a close connection with businesses, and they generally appreciate finding a family spirit at BSB, similar to what they experienced at EGC. This partnership allows us to build a natural progression with them towards Master's level programs", explains Jean-Christophe Cattane, Director of the BSB Lyon campus.
An alliance that enhances higher education in the regions
Beyond its academic dimension, this partnership reflects a shared desire to strengthen synergies between higher education institutions and the economic sector. It also illustrates BSB's commitment to a complementary approach among institutions, benefiting students and regional attractiveness.
The official signing took place in the presence of Thierry Cadeville, President of the Yonne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jérôme Mayel, General Director of the Yonne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Emmanuel Dubois, President of EGC Business School of Sens, Hervé Auberger, Director of the EGC Business School in Sens, Pascal Gautheron, President of the CCI Côte-d'Or · Saône-et-Loire, as well as representatives from BSB – Stéphan Bourcieu and Jean-Christophe Cattane.
