The Bachelor in Management programme is delivered over three progressive years, allowing you to master the core fundamentals of management in France and internationally.

Bachelor 1

Discover

You build strong foundations in management, marketing, economics, finance and law. You complete your first 8 to 12-week internship and take part in an international seminar to improve your language skills and broaden your horizons.

Bachelor 2

Experiment

You deepen your knowledge and take part in an international mobility experience (semester or summer school). You complete a second internship of at least four months, immersing you in real business environments, ideally within the luxury sector to explore this industry.

Bachelor 3

Specialise

You choose the International Sustainable Management specialisation and develop a clear understanding of how organisations adapt to environmental and societal challenges. You learn to analyse real-life situations, identify relevant levers for action and formulate responsible, credible recommendations. This final year sharpens your strategic perspective, strengthens your ability to convince, and leads to a final-year project showcasing your potential as a change-maker. This third year is delivered 100% in English and in full-time study mode.

An international perspective throughout the Bachelor's program.

From your first year, you'll participate in an international seminar at BSB or one of our 13 partner destinations to improve your language skills and discover another academic culture.

In your second year, you can spend a semester or attend a summer school at one of our 200 partner universities, some of which are world-renowned in Business Development.

In your third year, and in the initial track, you have the opportunity to go even further with a dual degree. For example, BSB opens the doors to Nottingham Trent University, one of the UK's most prestigious universities for business and management, at the heart of an environment where growth strategies, commercial innovation, and new business models are flourishing.

If you complete your third year as a work-study student, you'll remain on campus, but the international experience will come to you.

Between the courses taught in English, the international speakers, the global business case studies and the presence of students from dozens of countries (+80 nationalities on campus), you experience a global immersion without leaving your work-study program.

Result: your International Sustainable Management Bachelor is not limited to Lyon. It is a journey open to the world, where you can explore other approaches to sustainability, test academic or professional experiences abroad, and come back with a committed, analytical and resolutely international profile, exactly what organizations that are accelerating their responsible transition are looking for today.

FAQ – Everything you need to know

Can I change campus during the programme?

+
For the International Sustainable Management specialisation, you will study in Lyon. However, if you join the Bachelor in Management in Year 1, you may complete your B1 and B2 in Dijon, before joining the Dijon campus in B3.

Can I study the Bachelor in International Sustainable Management as a work-study programme?

+
No. This specialisation is offered exclusively as a full-time programme, with a minimum four-month internship at the end of the academic year. We support you in securing your internship through our extensive network of over 1,500 partner companies.

What is the difference compared with a BTS or a BUT?

+
A BTS or a BUT prepares you for a specific job role, but is rarely internationally oriented and often remains very academic, even though some programmes offer work-study options. The BSB Bachelor in Management is a Bachelor’s degree (Bac+3) awarding the Licence grade, internationally recognised, enriched by a strong global outlook, a dynamic student life, field trips to explore key sectors, and inspiring encounters through the Inspiring Leaders Meet-ups. In short, it is not just a degree, but a true life experience.

Do I have to continue on to a Master’s degree?

+
No. Many of our students secure their first position after completing the Bachelor (with a gross annual salary of €30,000–€35,000). However, 81% of students choose to continue towards a Grande École Master or an MSc to pursue higher-level careers. At BSB, you retain full flexibility: you may also change specialisation at Master’s level.

What level of English is required?

+
You do not need to be bilingual from the outset. At BSB, you improve your English through courses taught in both French and English, included certifications (TOEIC, IELTS), and international immersion experiences. As a result, you naturally gain confidence to work in an international environment. Please note that the International Sustainable Management specialisation is taught 100% in English, so you will need to build up your language skills during the first two years of the Bachelor in order to follow courses comfortably in Year 3.

Ready to shape your future?

Choosing BSB goes far beyond selecting a degree.

Over these three years, you will fully immerse yourself in student life, combining international experiences, student-led projects, inspiring encounters with leaders and personalised support.

By choosing the International Sustainable Management specialisation, you will explore in depth how organisations are reinventing themselves in response to today’s climate and environmental challenges. You will learn to analyse situations from a global perspective, identify realistic levers for improvement, and design strategies that balance performance, responsibility and long-term vision. You will strengthen your ability to unite people, build convincing arguments and propose solutions that make sense both for organisations and for society as a whole.

You will graduate with concrete skills, but above all with the mindset, methodology and confidence needed to define your own path—whether you choose to enter careers in CSR, ESG or impact directly, or to continue your studies with a Master’s degree or an MSc focused on sustainability, responsible strategy or organisational transformation.
