A three-step learning journey

The Bachelor in Management programme is structured over three progressive years, enabling you to master the core fundamentals of management in France and internationally.

Bachelor 1

Discover

You build solid foundations in management, marketing, economics, finance and law. You complete your first 8- to 12-week internship and take part in an international seminar to improve your language skills and broaden your horizons.

Bachelor 2

Experiment

You deepen your knowledge and take part in an international mobility programme (semester or summer school). You complete a second internship of at least four months, giving you real exposure to the business world—ideally in an international environment.

Bachelor 3

Specialise

You choose the International Business Management specialisation and learn how to analyse global markets, understand intercultural challenges and design strategies adapted to different economic contexts. You work on international business cases, engage with experts and develop a final-year project that demonstrates your ability to think globally, manage international expansion issues and operate in a multicultural environment. This third year is taught 100% in English and offered as a full-time programme.

An international perspective throughout the Bachelor's program.

From your first year, you'll participate in an international seminar at BSB or one of our 13 partner destinations to improve your language skills and discover another academic culture.

In your second year, you can spend a semester or attend a summer school at one of our 200 partner universities, some of which are world-renowned in Business Development.

In your third year, and in the initial track, you have the opportunity to go even further with a dual degree. For example, BSB opens the doors to Nottingham Trent University, one of the UK's most prestigious universities for business and management, at the heart of an environment where growth strategies, commercial innovation, and new business models are flourishing.

If you complete your third year as a work-study student, you'll remain on campus, but the international experience will come to you.

Between the courses taught in English, the international speakers, the global business case studies and the presence of students from dozens of countries (+80 nationalities on campus), you experience a global immersion without leaving your work-study program.

Result: your International Business Management Bachelor is not limited to Dijon or Lyon. It is an international course where you can test several academic and professional experiences abroad, and leave with a profile sought after by recruiters.

FAQ – Everything you need to know

Can I change campus during the programme?

+
For the International Business Management specialisation, you will study in Dijon. However, if you join the Bachelor in Management in Year 1, you may complete Years 1 and 2 in Lyon before moving to the Dijon campus for Year 3.

Can I study the Bachelor in International Business Management as a work-study programme?

+
No. This specialisation is available exclusively in full-time study mode and includes a minimum four-month internship at the end of the academic year. We support you in finding your internship through our extensive network of over 1,500 partner companies.

What is the difference compared with a BTS or a BUT?

+
A BTS or BUT programme prepares you for a specific profession, but is rarely internationally oriented and often remains very academic, even when offered as a work-study option. The BSB Bachelor in Management is a three-year degree awarding a Bachelor’s degree equivalent to a UK Bachelor’s (Licence level), internationally recognised and enriched by a strong global outlook, an active student life, field trips exploring key industries, and inspiring encounters through Meet-up Inspiring Leaders. In short, it is not only a degree, but a true life experience.

Do I have to continue on to a Master’s degree?

+
No. Many of our graduates secure their first position directly after the Bachelor’s degree (with an average gross annual salary of €30,000–€35,000). However, 81% of students choose to continue with a Grande École Master’s or an MSc to access higher-level career opportunities. At BSB, you remain free to choose and may even change specialisation at Master’s level.

What level of English is required?

+
You do not need to be bilingual from the start. At BSB, you progress through courses taught 50% in English, included language certifications (TOEIC, IELTS), and international immersion experiences. As a result, you naturally gain confidence working in an international environment. Please note that the International Business Management specialisation is taught 100% in English, so you will need to significantly improve your English during the first two years of the Bachelor in order to follow Year 3 courses comfortably.

Ready to shape your future?

Choosing BSB goes far beyond selecting a degree.

Over these three years, you will fully immerse yourself in your studies, combining international experiences, student-led projects, inspiring encounters with business leaders and personalised support.

By choosing the International Business Management specialisation, you build strong foundations to understand global markets, cultural challenges and the dynamics of international business, while developing your own way of analysing situations, making decisions and taking action in a global environment. You graduate with solid, practical skills — but above all with the confidence, international outlook and professional network needed to shape your own path, whether you choose to enter the job market directly or continue your studies in an internationally focused programme.
