An international perspective throughout the Bachelor's program.
From your first year, you'll participate in an international seminar at BSB or one of our 13 partner destinations to improve your language skills and discover another academic culture.
In your second year, you can spend a semester or attend a summer school at one of our 200 partner universities, some of which are world-renowned in Business Development.
In your third year, and in the initial track, you have the opportunity to go even further with a dual degree. For example, BSB opens the doors to Nottingham Trent University, one of the UK's most prestigious universities for business and management, at the heart of an environment where growth strategies, commercial innovation, and new business models are flourishing.
If you complete your third year as a work-study student, you'll remain on campus, but the international experience will come to you.
Between the courses taught in English, the international speakers, the global business case studies and the presence of students from dozens of countries (+80 nationalities on campus), you experience a global immersion without leaving your work-study program.
What you will study in the Bachelor in International Business Management at BSB
In addition to the core fundamentals of management, the third year of the International Business Management specialisation provides you with a global perspective on international trade, overseas development strategies and the challenges companies face when operating across multiple continents. You learn how to analyse a market, understand cultural and economic dynamics, and manage projects in a fully international environment.
-
Analyse international development strategies and understand how companies adapt their marketing approaches to different global markets. Examine market entry choices (exporting, franchising, joint ventures, subsidiaries) and work on real-life cases to recommend coherent global strategies.
-
Explore the human challenges of international management: intercultural communication, managing multicultural teams and organising remote work. Identify leadership styles adapted to different cultures, global motivation drivers and the challenges faced by managers in an international context, through practical cases inspired by global companies.
-
Understand the operational challenges of global trade: international transport, customs, standards and coordination of cross-border flows. Analyse international contracts and Incoterms to master legal responsibilities and risks related to cross-border operations, and assess how companies secure and optimise their global supply chains.
-
Gain an introduction to global finance principles: exchange rate fluctuations, international financial risks and hedging strategies. Understand the key mechanisms of international taxation and analyse how companies structure their financial operations in a globalised environment.
These courses are complemented by case studies inspired by real-life situations faced by international companies: entering new markets, managing multicultural teams, adapting products or coordinating global operations. They train you to read a market, understand a cultural context and assess an international strategy with realism, preparing you to quickly integrate a globally oriented organisation as a future international manager with strong global vision, cultural agility and operational awareness.
In the 3rd year, the International Business Management specialization is experienced in initial course, with a professional internship of at least 4 months at the end of the year to put your learning into practice in a truly international context. It is an essential immersion to understand how companies operate abroad, manage their partners, manage their global operations and adapt their strategy to local realities.
In this International Business Management specialization, internship missions plunge you into the heart of international development:
Our students carry out their internship in a wide variety of organizations: exporting companies, international SMEs, large groups, global start-ups, export services, firms specialized in international development or structures operating on several markets.
This experience is a real springboard: it enriches your CV, reinforces your understanding of how an international company operates and prepares you to quickly integrate operational missions into global business.
You are ready to integrate positions in international trade, the development of foreign markets, the management of global operations or export coordination, in France and internationally:
